The anticipation is growing, my friends. Here’s a sneaky peaky at my current progress with the book …
“When my exhausted body finally landed in Ilulissat, I had been unmarried for nearly four months. Unmarried for a short time, but living alone for nearly a year and thirsting for anything but predictability.
At this point in my life it was by far the longest travel day I had ever experienced. My body was begging to tap out. By the time I met up with my guide, Lars, in Greenland I had crossed the US-Canadian border via road trip, walked through four international airports, sat nervously on multiple airplanes, traveled with backpackers by bus in the middle of the night, and stood outside a locked airport with Max from NYC, my very first friend made on this adventure. We laughed together as we put our snow pants on, shivering, thinking this has to be a scene from Punked.”
